In the maze of its roots, deep below the surface of The Story Tree, is hidden the most exquisite treasure ever found – the story of you … and me
“What makes your heart smile?” The Story Tree asks
“Horses make my heart smile.”
“What makes your heart smile?” The Story Tree asks
“Horses make my heart smile.”
The girl’s mom asked her why she loves horses so much, and she answered simply that it is because they make her heart smile. Let us remember that anything is possible with a smiling heart.
“How about you?” The Story Tree whispers
“See it through the lens of your heart.” She hands you a message written on her leaf.
“Do you remember now? Come and see the world through the eyes of mine,” The Story Tree says
“I see me.”
“I see you.”
“Do you remember now? Come and see the world through the eyes of mine,” The Story Tree says
“I see me.”
“I see you.”
The Himba child and Vladia gaze at one another as she observes her own face reflected back at her in the sunglasses. She leans forward in attempt to lick the glass, wanting to touch her own reflection that is being mirrored for the very first time.
The girl and the piglet weren’t always this comfortable with one another. In fact, she was quite terrified of the piglet upon first meeting. What was this strange, pink creature that she’d never seen before? With time and patience, her fear turned to curiosity, and eventually her curiosity turned to companionship. We all fear the unknown, until we make
friends with it.
“Come and sit with me under the branches of The Story Tree. To share a story of you and me … united under the same canopy … a place we all belong to … a place we all call home …”
